A New Year, A New Baby

Happy 2009! I'm sure most of you who are reading this already know, but just in case the word didn't get around to you yet, yes, I am pregnant! Our new baby (currently, at 4 weeks, the size of a poppy seed) is due 9-9-09. Which means, if the baby is like his or her big brother, they will probably arrive some time in October. So there is no rush to get ready for the new arrival just yet. I am feeling fine so far, still waiting for things to sink in really. It is certainly going to be an adventurous 2009 for our family!

So how did we spend our New Year's Eve? Here at home, of course, doing nothing, as usual. But to be honest, with traveling, and having company, we just needed some downtime anyway. We enjoyed cheese, crackers, and seafood salad while Alex ate his dinner at 6:00, then we put him to bed at 8 and enjoyed some fresh mahi mahi, broccoli, and some ice cream and played games. In bed at 11. I know, lame, but you know what? My dear son started making whining noises at 5:00 am, so I am truly glad I wasn't partying way into the night.

Oh, I guess I didn't say anything about Christmas. I'll just share a few pictures of Alex's favorite moments.
