It's a BOY!!! We (along with most of our voters) thought we were having a girl, but we are thrilled that Alexander will have a little brother! It should make things pretty easier around here, being able to use the same clothes and toys (although I'm sure I will be buying my new little guy some cute new outfits as well). We are pretty sure that everything looked good, according to the ultrasound. Their measurements had me estimated at a September 3rd due date -- a little earlier than my September 8 due date given to me by the doctor. So we'll see!
In other news, I ran in my 5 mile race on Saturday. I was able to finish in 52:47, which is only about 3 minutes slower than the race I ran in a year ago, when I was not pregnant and in much better shape. I came in at 232 out of 251, but I am just happy I was not last! Considering that I only trained for 3 weeks, I am extremely proud of myself. I am looking forward to really picking things up next spring.
So that's it! We are excited and working on some baby names (which, quite possibly, may not start with A, and which, of course, we will not be telling!)
