This past Saturday, I ran in the Race Against Racism, a 5K, with my brothers in law, Ken and Mark. We had a great time. It was the first race for both of the guys, and they did great! I finished in 30:55 and was in 776th place (out of 1308 runners). Ken was 4 seconds behind me in 789th, and Mark was only a minute behind us, in 854th place. Click here to see all the race results:

I am looking forward to my next race, the Red Rose Run, a 5-miler, on June 5. I am trying to convince them to run again with me! I'm not sure if they're up for it or not. If not, there are vacancies . . . anyone else want to be my running buddy?
And that's what's up on Boomerang Drive this week!

Hey Holly - definitely was a good race.
I decided I'm going to be increasing my weekly running amounts to try to reach the 5 mile point and try to participate in the Red Rose Run.
I've got a schedule, and it's about SIX weeks from now! Should I register now, you think?
