We decided Alex is old enough to begin a little Christmas tradition, so I put a note inside each box with a special holiday activity for the day. I decided to take a picture of each day's activity. Here are the first days.
Day 1: Read a special Christmas story. Last year, Nana and Grandpa R. sent us a unique version of The Night Before Christmas. When you open the book, it reads by itself -- with voices recorded by the grandparents! Alex loves it.
Day 2: Make Christmas cards.
Day 3: Make a Christmas ornament. (I was a little disappointed that he chose a big, black scribble for the decoration. But, whatever, he's a boy.)
Day 4: Make a Christmas game with Daddy.
Day 5: Watch the Polar Express.
And that's the first 5 days of Advent from Boomerang Drive!
