August was a whirlwind of activity.
It started with Erik taking the boys to the World Boardgaming Championships. After that, we went to New York, but I didn't have my camera with me, unfortunately.
Alex turned 6, which, among other things, involved a drum set and a boat ride.
We celebrated our friend Madi's 5th birthday party with a super fun outside painting party.
We had lots of time with friends this summer, including trips to Dutch Wonderland, ice cream at Boehringers, and pool time.
We had a fun campout with family, which included more fun in the pool, a campfire, and of course sleeping in a tent.
And finally, we ended the month with a combo birthday party for both boys.

Erik has been back to school for two weeks now, and the boys and I start tomorrow. Wish us luck!
