U2, Ice Cream, Family Fun

I like the idea of blogging every day to share what we're doing this summer, but please understand if I miss a day or two sometimes . . . there are enough little things I need to get done in a day, and sometimes I am wiped out at the end of it!

Last night Erik went with his college friend Mike Camp to Philly to see U2 in concert. As you can see from this photo Mike took, they got a pretty amazing spot up close to the stage.

I stayed with the boys, and we went to Oregon Dairy for ice cream. I have some nice pictures of that, but I can't get them on the computer right now. We can't find the cord for my camera, and it's not working to just put the card into the computer and load them that way. Long story. We'll work on it and hopefully I can post those pictures soon!

Tonight we went downtown to Ephrata's Family Fun Night. They had a "Hometown Heroes" theme, with a military band, motorcycle parade, and street vendors. The boys enjoyed splitting a cinnamon soft pretzel, and I snapped a picture with my phone. Alex's face looks weird because he's trying to say "cheese" while eating.

Also, I should mention that Erik and I have been married 11 years today. I am completely and totally blessed to have him as a husband, I couldn't ask for anyone better. He is perfect for me and I hope we have many, many more years together!

That's it from Boomerang Drive!
