So . . . after my previous whining about not being able to go to Christmas Eve with the Schlosser family, things changed for the better. Alex recovered from his illness, no one else got sick, and we were invited to go anyway at the last minute. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve.
We had fun with the crazy uncles . . .
and were happy to spend the holiday with our newest addition to the family, Aunt Sara.
We had some unplanned color coordination happening . . .
a wonderful meal . . .
and even some snow.
Christmas morning at home with just the four of us was equally special.
We opened up games . . .
toys . . .
a drum set from Santa . . .
and lots of cool t-shirts.
It was a day full of lots of love.
