If You Give a Mom a New Refrigerator . . .

If you give a mom a new refrigerator . . .

She's going to want one with water in the door.

Her kids will see the water in the door and realize they're thirsty.

But they have no clean cups.

So the mom will go to Target.

While in Target, she'll remember that she has nothing to put utensils in, so she'll buy a utensil holder.

When setting it up, she'll remember that she's hungry, and she'll decide to make a snack.

So she'll need some fancy new plates.

But she won't be able to decide between two patterns, so she'll have to get both.

But the plates will be too big for her snack, so she'll have to get some snack bowls too.

After the snack, she'll have to dry the dishes.

But she'll need a new mat to go under her drying rack.

But the rack will fill up, and she'll need some new dish towels to dry the rest.

Hanging up the dish towel, she will look at the refrigerator.

Which will remind her that she's thirsty.

And chances are, if she's thirsty . . .

She's going to need a new Contigo mug for her coffee.

(Disclaimer: We don't just go around buying things on impulse. I have a list and used birthday money to buy all of this stuff. And the coffee mug wasn't even for me, it was for Erik, because his broke).
